“IT IS a fantastic achievement
to win the competition again for
the second time in three years,
said Ladies Representative Team
Manager Sgt Michelle Harvey-
Perkins after her team’s Inter-
Service title win.
She added: “It shows that we are
becoming a dominant force within
Representative football. This then
fuels the hunger and determination
to make everything better for the
players year on year, and raise the
bar and standard of football that the
LRT are playing. As manager I am
extremely proud of the achievement,
but the plaudits should be equally
shared among all the staff and
players for the hard work and effort
they put in throughout the season,
and winning the trophy makes it all
worthwhile.”
The result came after the Royal
Navy lost 2-0 to the Army in the
final game of the championships.
