JOINING A car club proved more than a mini
adventure for motor-mad Sgt Chris Moss and
SAC Jada Lloyd.
The couple, who met through their shared
love of the iconic British Mini tied the knot this
month.
Bride Jada, 26, arrived in her purple Mini
Mayfair while her bridesmaids and ushers
drove to the ceremony in a convoy of five
other minis owned by her dad and brother
and 42-year-old Chris.
Wittering-based aircraft engineer
Chris said: “We met through our
membership of Bomber County Minis
and we’re also members of the RAF
Mini Club.
“Most weekends we’re busy with SIX APPEAL: Car collection is guest of honour at Air Force wedding, below,
some Mini-related activity so when we Jada arrives in style – in her own classic motor. Top, Jada’s bridesmaids
were planning the wedding, naturally the
Minis had to be involved.”
Before the big occasion at Doddington
Hall, Lincoln, the groom and pals held a
mini rally at the famous Dambusters pub
in Scampton before driving back
to display the cars, decorated with
wedding ribbons, in front of the Hall.
The collection featured Chris’s
Mini Cooper, Mini Van and Wolsey
Hornet, Jada’s Mini Mayfair, her
father’s Lamm Mini convertible
and her brother’s Mini.
The Mini theme ran through
the whole wedding, which
even included ‘Cooper
cheesecake’ as dessert.
A medic, Jada is based
at RAF Marham and the
couple are expecting
their first baby later A family member said: “We’re looking forward to when
this year. a mini Moss joins the family.”
